I'm lucky enough to be someone who has the luxury of seeing a lot of independent movies for free, has a huge videogame collection that goes all the way back to the Vectrex, and is an artist that is constantly trying to find more inspiring art. In all of these areas I am frequently frustrated by the apathy that a lot of people have towards the quality of the art they consume. I started this blog for two reasons:
1. To promote Movies, Games, or Comics that are unique or exceptionally well crafted but don't get the attention they deserve.
2. To hopefully be exposed to more underrated art myself through reader suggestions. (email me at benjelter@gmail.com if you have any ideas for an article)
I also want to make it clear that I consider anything to be underrated if I think that it doesn't get enough recognition now regardless of its popularity or awards in niche markets or in the past.
